Senior Service Engineer

Climeon’s Heat Power modules are being installed in several challenging and exciting environments. The quality level and performance need to be world class. In order to achieve this, we need experienced personnel with good leadership skills to provide an extra depth of knowledge and stability to help build and spread the competence in our teams. As a Senior Service Engineer in the Customer Support team, you will have a role where your practical hands-on skills, deep technical knowledge and leadership skills will come handy.

Being a Senior Service Engineer at Climeon is a versatile job where you will gain widespread knowledge on the technology surrounding our Heat Power modules. You’ll be working with electronics, mechanics and PLC control system- supporting our existing system installs and our new commissioning projects to make sure our machines are up and running at all times. You will also be leading and developing our Customer Support team by spreading knowledge and leading by example. The main part of your job will be carried out at Climeon headquarters in Kista where you will be leading our Service Engineers at our test site, but a part of the work is carried out abroad so you will get to travel the world, working on-site at Geothermal, Industrial and Maritime based power sites. The role also includes: 

  • Write procedures and methods 
  • Report changes and deviations in applicable administrative systems, drive and follow-up remedies 
  • Connect systems mechanically and electrically 
  • Electrical, mechanical and software configuration 
  • Set-up of electrical HW and SW 
  • Teamwork with colleagues to solve problems 
  • Replace and install malfunctioning parts 
  • Execute FAT and SAT 
  • Coordinate and make sure that modules are shipped accordingly 
  • Issue reporting and possible solution 
  • Support current customers 

Who are you? 

To succeed in this role, we seek someone with deep technical knowledge and experience from a leadership position. We believe you have a technical degree, preferably within power electronics/electronics, automation, maritime, or similar. We also believe that you have at least ten years relevant hands-on working experience from servicing, operating, maintaining and troubleshooting equipment. We believe that your previous experience contains leading small and/or large installation teams or a similar position. Since our modules are spread across the globe, this role can include a lot of travelling, both planned and with short notice. Therefore, you must be able to travel for short and longer periods of time, up to 160 days/year.
