Senior Mechanical Engineer

We are on the lookout for a talented Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team and play an important role in shaping the future of our technology.
The Position
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Climeon, you will be working in the core of our product development where you will be designing, integrating, testing and developing Climeon products from start to finish. This role is ideal for someone with a broad technical interest who wants to make a significant impact on the future development of our products.
Some of your primary responsibilities include:
- Lead the mechanical architecture and product design decision
- Develop design concepts and identify product requirements
- Communicating and coordinating work with suppliers, supporting product sourcing
- Develop and create models, drawings and specifications using CAD while maintaining and updating technical documentation for design and testing
- Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA)
- Provide support in the testing and installation phase of products
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who’s independent in their work with a strong personal drive and excellent collaboration skills. You are a team player who enjoy supporting where it’s needed by sharing your knowledge with others. You are also eager to learn new things, you make things happen, and you handle your tasks from start to finish.
Furthermore, we seek someone with the following qualifications:
- B.Sc or M.Sc in Mechanical Engineering or similar
- Minimum 10 years of work experience within mechanical engineering
- Experience from leading mechanical development projects from design to production, preferably in the manufacturing industry
- Experience from leading and coordinating with suppliers and others in the development phase
- Experience creating models, drawings and specifications using CAD
- Experience within production, preferably low volume production and knowledge within machining, welding and sheet metal. Experience within piping, process, or pressure vessels is a plus.
- Experience from working in a small or medium sized company or a small department in a large company is considered a plus
- Fluent in English, Swedish language skills is considered a plus.
